Jay Croft is an artist from Akron, Ohio. His paintings and characters have been seen all around the world, from solo exhibitions to board graphics ridden worldwide. His art draws heavily from his background in skateboarding. The people he has met and places he has travelled have guided his works. His Grandpa Croft, a major influence in childhood, encouraged him to create art and draw everyday, and he has been doing so ever since. From his early days of skateboarding in Ohio, his love of the art and culture of the scene grew, drawing from everything from the graphics on the boards to the photography in magazines. His passions for art, skateboarding, and the melding of the two, have never wavered. And although he has lived all over the country, returing to the area a few years back, northeastern Ohio has and always will be, home.

Jay's artwork has adorned product for numerous skateboard companies and small skate shops around the world, including: Vans, Alien Workshop, Element, Blockhead and Lovenskate. He continues to live outside of the Akron area with his wife Julie, and two children, Maeve and Rory.
